But she didn't give up on her dream of becoming a world-class athlete, and thanks to her effort and perseverance, she overcame all difficulties and achieved an impressive list of victories and records in national and international competitions, and became a two-time World Champion in Race walking.

1993

Kimberly García was born on October 19 in Huancayo, a Peruvian city located at 3,249 meters above sea level.

1998

At the age of 5, her love for race walking began, and from then on she already knew that she wanted to be the best in Peru and the world. She trained with great discipline and dedication and participated in the national youth championships, demonstrating her skills for this sport from a young age.

2011

Despite not receiving support or having the appropriate conditions to train, upon reaching adulthood, she decided to continue with her dream and entered the adult category, where the demands were even greater.Thanks to her effort, perseverance and passion for race walking, she managed to have a successful career full of victories in the most important competitions that today place her among the best in the world in her sport.
